I made this oil a few months ago, I like to use it in salad dressings and cooking to add flavor and a healthy boost. I leave the oil herb mixture in a dark place for a minimum of 30 days, this one was 2 months! The finished photo is to show the difference between oil and alcohol maceration.

For this BB you will create a rosemary infused oil:
    - harvest rosemary
    - make an infused oil
    - strain the oil

Here is my submission for the Natural Medicine Aspect - Sand for Straw - Create a Rosemary Infused Oil BB.

I need one more photo so this is a regular post for now.

I harvested rosemary at my sister's house this year.  Since I have a lot of fresh rosemary, I decided to break out the crockpot and heat the oil-rosemary mixture for approximately 24 hours.

To document the completion of the BB, I have provided the following:
     - harvesting rosemary
     - making the infused oil
     - finished infused oil in a labeled jar

What’s not to like about rosemary infused oil! Winter is coming, so I’m going to be making a lot more of these while there’s good healthy leaves on all my herbs.

I made my Rosemary oil with freshly picked tips and some organic extra virgin olive oil.

The finished jar is in my ‘potions’ cupboard and I have set a repeating daily task to check and stir / shake every day.

I infused some rosemary from my garden in olive oil. I let it sit for a couple of weeks and the rosemary lost all its colour. The oil smells beautiful. I think I'll use it to make roast potatoes over the winter.

I cut some rosemary at my parents' house a few weeks ago. As I rarely have fresh rosemary, I decided to make rosemary infused oil for some potato wedges (currently in the oven as I post this). I used olive oil and left it to infuse for two weeks and a half, shaking the jars every day. I strained the oil into two new jars.

My family has had various sprains, pulled muscles, aches and pains this past month. I made rosemary oil to massage on some of these areas. I used fractionated coconut oil and dried rosemary from my garden.
