Cleaned shops much worse than mine, But mine has been needing some attention for the past week. I have many projects going on like rebuilding my car's engine, fixing an air compressor, building a bedside table, making a rollerblade brake, and more.

A simple task like cleaning a shop although it seems silly feels so good. It helps me think clearly and helps me feel more relaxed and focused when I'm working on a project.

After our move, I was never able to get things organized until I got the black tool chest in the back.  Additionally, we've been still suffering under a deluge of cardboard boxes.  I've spent way more than an hour putting things into place in here so far and this is just he tail end of it.  Feels great to get on top of it finally!

Edge case submission
I hope this counts. I recently moved, so rather than cleaning the shop, I spent time unpacking and setting up the shop. At the end of the day I think it achieves the same outcome (giving yourself a functional space to work).

I think if it was more involved, it would be a fit for: https://permies.com/wiki/128650/pep-tool-care/PEP-BB-tool-straw-optimize

I cleaned my shop today.

This is much more than one hour. I'm so glad I got this done. I can really use the space again.

Hello,

I cleaned the shop recently. This was an old abandoned rabbit hutch that is used for tool storage now.

Over the course of the last few days and as it gets colder and colder I decided to get things organised and even redesigned to better suit the changing workshop. Each day I spent a few hours since it was quite a sty! Not my own doing of course haha!

I usually don't do any edits because you actually do any editing it throws up a warning of making a new post in the staff only section on how to avoid so I save them the trouble and just post another post.

That sounds different than what I thought happened.  My current staff powers might hide such messages.

Would you mind doing a new post in the Tinkering forum with a screen shot of what that message is?  Editing your own posts shouldn't generate scary warnings.

Oooo, ah, that's how it starts. Later there's running and screaming and tiny ads.
