This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Building.

While building a house may be out of reach at the moment, let's get some practice putting together smaller structures.  Using local construction materials you can harvest yourself seems to be a great idea.  Drywall doesn't come directly out of the ground but it's a ubiquitous building material so let's make a wall with it.

And here's how to begin your journey with hanging drywall:

Minimum requirements:
  - At least 7 feet tall by 8 feet long
  - Taped joints
  - Drywall screws at the correct depth
  - Finished so the joints aren't visible.  Some possibilities include:
         - Joint compound finished flat
         - Skip troweled plaster
         - Natural plasters

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
  - Framed wall in need of drywall
  - Drywall sheets installed
  - Closeup of the screws showing depth
  - Taped joints
  - Finished wall showing how joints aren't visible
  - Finished wall showing dimensions (if not obvious)

What a show! What atmosphere! What fun! What a tiny ad!
