Sweep a Floor - PEP BB nest.sand.sweepfloor

I don't have much floor to sweep (everywhere but the kitchen and bathroom is carpeted), but between a long-haired dog, a cat, and a lot of cooking, the dirt builds up!

Apparently Roomba got into a fight with the cats' feeders, and Roomba won.  The floor was the ultimate loser.

Here is my submission. I'm always amazed by the amount of crud, today there was a couple of shards of glass under the yellow sofa - no one owned up to breaking anything, its a mystery.

I left my floors unvacuumed for 3 days (normally I do it every day) just for this badge haha. Wanted to show I could sweep enough crud.

I'm using a traditional Japanese pan to sweep into. Its actually made out of cardboard and hand pained with kakishibu (persimmon tanin). It makes it really stiff and durable. If you have astringent persimmons you can make this natural paint yourself and use it to paint wood with (interior use).
