Sweep a Floor - PEP BB nest.sand.sweepfloor

I swept the floor. A woodstove and two rather messy cooks makes for a messy floor.

After the children’s lunch, some popcorn as a snack, lego construction, and whatever arts and crafts happened, the kitchen floor was looking treacherous. I swept up the remains and even hit a couple spots with the mop for good measure.

Sweeping my dusty floor in the yurt. Since I cook in this space also, it accumulates other bits of fallen debris.

It is a small area, but the floor was really nasty.  I recently bought the place and it hadn't been cleaned in eight or nine months.

I needed to sweep the porch anyway, but then I also knocked over a (thankfully not-planted-in) pot so I really needed to do it.

Assorted grunge: my neighbors upstairs have been eating sunflower seeds and just dropping the shells on their porch, so I’ve been having seed shells rain down from the heavens all week...super gross. Gotta write them a firmly-worded note.


All clean! Going to come back when it dries a bit to get the last bits of dirt out of that corner.
