Make a Bee/Insect Watering Station - PEP BB animal.sand.waterstation

The days are starting to feel like summer which means the critters will be more in need of water sources. I made an insect watering station and placed it in a raised bed at the front of our sun garden, which has flowers for pollinators.

After gathering up some extra pot trays, including a broken one, some glass gems and a shell for decoration as well as various items found out in our yard for different textures and surfaces, I took everything to the garden to put together.

The base is resting on an old iron basket I got for free from the roadside and flipped over. I created different levels with stones, sticks and moss to create ramps up and down and added an extra "landing pad" up above on the base of an old garden light and small terra cotta saucer. Hopefully this water station will make our pollinator bed even more appealing and helpful!

Here is my submission for this BB. I used the pyrex lid from a dish that broke, and I put a mixture of tumbled quartz and stones from my garden. Here are the photos:

Used a old cat water dish and some pine bark and rocks then some sticks on top.

For this BB I used three clay pot saucers and stones. I decorated two with paint, but seeing as the building requirements usually frown on paint I left a third without any. I included paint to make them more vibrant and hopefully attract bees.

I started this two days ago and have yet to see any bugs in them but hoping they’re visiting while I’m away or that they’ll discover them soon.
