The days are starting to feel like summer which means the critters will be more in need of
water sources. I made an insect watering station and placed it in a
raised bed at the front of our sun garden, which has flowers for pollinators.
After gathering up some extra pot trays, including a broken one, some glass gems and a shell for decoration as well as various items found out in our
yard for different textures and surfaces, I took everything to the garden to put together.
The base is resting on an old iron basket I got for free from the roadside and flipped over. I created different levels with stones, sticks and moss to create ramps up and down and added an extra "landing pad" up above on the base of an old garden light and small terra cotta saucer. Hopefully this water station will make our pollinator bed even more appealing and helpful!
