We've been working on the pep stuff for years.  And I think we have done a really good job of getting away from the suggestions of testing or required reading.  

I think that people need to know how to tie shoes with laces, but we don't have a BB for that.  Nor for having paid their taxes or drive themselves to run errands.    So we draw the line somewhere.  

For budgets, planning, reporting, tracking incomes and expenses ...   that does seem important ...   and it also seems important that people take all of the proper safety steps when welding or dropping a tree.  

I think my official word on bookkeeping is:   not at this time.
