Edge case submission
No shower here, but a good old bath with rainwater for the summer. It change from the hot pan of water on the stove during snow season.

Edit: will use later this year the Summer shower BB to resubmit this part.

Hmmm, it may take a few days for the staff to approve or reject this one.  The badge is for SHOWER water but rainwater use weighs in too.

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, you must show proof of the following (as pictures or a video < 2 mins):
 - Three gallons of water from your shower that's obviously poo-less
 - Giving the water to something outside or to flush a toilet

- See the 'Collect' photo for three gallons of poo-less shower water.  As I recall, it took three showers to fill the bucket.  A bit under four gallons of water fit inside the kitty litter container, for context.  As of this writing, I have been poo-less for 5+ years and loving it.  Please forgive the dirty looking shower water in the bucket.  The bucket previously had been used outside for rain water collection, outdoor rinsing, watering, etc.

- See the 'Distribute' photo for giving the water to something outside.  The 'something outside' is the lone oak tree on our 3 acres.  It's rather over-crowded & over-shadowed by Black Locust, Red Mulberry, and Elm trees.  Trying to give it some help!

This is my second BB submission, 2nd day in a row!

I've been 'poo-less since December and I kind of wish it wasn't called 'poo-less because most people assume that I'm proud to say that I'm constipated. Maybe soap-free? But then again, because it isn't obvious, I then get to explain it to another person. Either way, I was able to achieve a min of 3 gallons from two days' worth of showers. The shower stall is very small so I use a smaller bucket and dump it either before or after a shower.

For this BB, I collected the smaller buckets of unknown volume into a 10 gallon bucket that's usually used for outdoor work so the bucket wasn't free of debris. I did take a picture of the water to show that it wasn't soapy.

I then took a height measurement with the objective of achieving 3/10 of the overall height to correlate to a 3 gallon volume.

The measurement yields that the fill volume is 8.5inches and the overall height is 17inches. So this is approx. 5 gallons! More than I thought!

I then watered a new garden bed that I threw cover crops and kitchen scraps at the beginning of the season.

*I'm also attempting to attach the photos using a google photos url share link because it would be more desirable than downloading-uploading photos and the preview isn't showing the photos so I decided to download-upload the photos just in case.

It’s amazing how much water can be caught from just a couple showers, and most of this is just waiting for the water to warm up. I had about 4 gallons with gave me 3 toilet flushes.

I collected almost exactly 13 Liters/3 gallons. Been poo-less for 3 weeks now and havent used soap on my body for many years. The watering can has 10 liters written on the side, I measured the rest. Sorry about the lighting, there are baby plants living in the bathroom I used the water to water my seeds in the garden, saving precious rain water for later.

EDIT: added a picture showing the bucket contenance (16,6 L = 3,65 gallons)

After a few showers, I finally had enough water! I will keep collecting the water from the shower from now on, it is such a waste to let it go like that^^

I wasn't sure how many showers this would take, and was a bit surprised to find that one leisurely 10 minute shower, not all of which landed in the bucket, almost filled the 5 gallon Home Depot bucket.

Tried the no-poo thing.  Day 4, a houseguest says, "What smells?" then, "I think your cat threw up on you."  My hair did feel and look better, so I think I'll just go with cutting down on shampoo frequency, but not out.  Here's a bucket from a no-poo day.

Here’s my poo-less shower water. I conveniently carried it to the plants on my balcony and also used it to fill up my watering can for the indoor plants — repeated this for a few days until the water was all used up

I took a shower with a moveable showerhead and collected the soap-less and shampoo-less water in a 5 gallon bucket to flush the toilet.

Poo-less shower water in 5 gallon bucket.

Moveable shower head so I could wash/rinse over bucket.
