Note: I hereby certify that this badge bit is complete! Safflower is a drying oil, just like walnut oil.

We do not have walnut oil currently but have a nice regenerative organic sunflower oil. It smells very neutral and we use and wash our wooden plates and utensils often.

I was scraping the bottom of the barrel for wooden items... I would've oiled the barrel, too, were it not metaphorical.  The trim around the worksurface is for bonus points.

I used linseed oil because it's food-safe and I don't have access to walnut oil.

I had some different things the could use oiling, and it was so nice today I did it on my back porch. I didn’t have any walnut oil, so I had to use olive oil.
