The Norway spruce in my
permaculture backyard gifted me a wonderful cup of tea this morning. Watch the video to find out!
I make the argument in the video that I didn't plant this tree. It was here for years before we acquired the property, so I consider this foraging, and not harvesting something that I planted.
What really struck me was that the longer the tea cooled in my cup, the deeper a salmon/pink hue it took on and the sweeter it got, naturally. I didn't add anything.
