I give this video 10 out of 10 acorns

This video is about living with animals.  Each animal has its way of viewing the world and way of communicating.  Understanding how this works, helps us live in harmony with our critters and wildlife.

I especially enjoyed the parts where she talks about living in harmony with predators. By designing housing and other systems, the predators do the work on the farm instead of gobbling up her chickens.

This video is a talk from a PDC at Wheaton Labs.

Random notes from watching this.

Jacqueline talks about the relationship of animals, the relationship of predator and pray, and a bunch of other things too.

bees are her lifetime passion

Every animal has a different nature and different personality.  They have their own jobs on the farm.

Thinking about your relationship on the farm.

How to participate in managing the relationships on the farm.  moving from being an overseer protective roll on the farm to becoming a co-creative steward by participating in the many connections within the ecosystems.

The value of having voles and how they improve soil health

Creating a balance so nothing dominates the landscape.
