I have dogs in the fenced in portion of my yard. I've already given up on that area. The grass has died. I have four dogs. In the area free from dogs the grass grows, but I have voles and/or moles. What can I do, and do the voles/moles eat dog feces?

Snakes really creep me out. But if I have garter snakes, then scarier snakes probably won't move in to solve the problem.

Voles and Moles make excellent pig food!
I think the pigs would destroy alot more than the moles while getting at them! my dogs would dig neat little trails through the yard after them. unless they have little hammer drills on their noses I don't think we will have much of a mole or gopher problem here. a mole that could pop up in my yard is a frightening proposal indeed.

Mediterranean climate, hugel trenches, fabulous clay soil high in nutrients, self-watering containers with hugel layers, keyhole composting with low hugel raised beds, thick Back to Eden Wood chips mulch (distinguished from Bark chips), using as many native plants as possible....all drought tolerant.
