Hi Blake I’m just getting started with a few elderberries. Bought two varieties Adams and Wilde this year and have some bushes sprinkled around that were already here. I call them Mama Elders. Do I need to worry about cross pollination? Good or bad? Thanks

The fruit will be unaffected. You only need to worry if you plan on planting more elderberries from their seeds. However, that might result in a new elderberry breed that is better adapted to your climate and soil. A way around this is to clone the elderberries by planting cuttings. Elderberry root easily from cuttings so you should be able to propagate to your heart's content.
