Hi all- I'm interested in putting a food forest in a little patch of land in back of my house in San Francisco, and am wondering what plants people would recommend I plant. The canopy layer is what I'm struggling with most, and I'd love, if it's possible, to plant as many as possible. =)

"little patch" probably means dwarf fruit trees for your canopy, make sure you have polliinators for them if they aren't self pollinating, two of each can take up quite a bit of room
