I had a strange experience this week.
I returned to my Brazilian Jiu Jitzu class after a post baby break to discover that I had somehow become noticeably more proficient at ground fighting. I was OBSERVING more while "rolling" (wrestling) and making changes based on the PRINCIPLES of BJJ.

I pulled off a submission several times despite never having been able to use it before.

My fitness is not currently at a high level.  The only thing I  can think of that could be responsible is the obsession I have had over the last few weeks with permaculture. I have been listening to Paul's podcast while gardening and doing housework, OBSERVING the garden and natural systems, and doing a heap more in my garden, all based on PRINCIPLES.

I think there is a connection. My BJJ instructor, who has done a PDC  agrees.

Has anyone else had similar experiences?
