Hello Arwen,
There are a couple things I would suggest, one is using warm castor oil packs over the area. You can get good quality castor oil from the heritage store and I think they still
sell it with a flannel cloth and directions to use the cloth and castor oil. The other is to find someone in your area who does deep tissue work that is good. There are various styles people use, but rather than suggesting a particular one, I would suggest asking around for a referral to someone who is skilled in your area at deep tissue work. Scar tissue will not disappear, but you can soften the area and slowly break up adhesions that are problematic and cause stagnation in the area. Acupuncture has helped some people also.
