Hi
I am in the SW of France and I'd like to create a large (tall) wind-break on the north and west borders of a farm.
I am looking for interesting high
trees (20 m or more) that are evergreen if possible. If not, would deciduous trees break the wind in the winter ?
What spacing design
should I use ?
I am thing about planting first a row of tall coniferous pinus nigra var. maritima
then one row of alnus rubra and cordata
then sub-canopy trees
then shrubs
what do you think ?
Thanks
