Hello there! I'm looking far and wide for the elusive scarlet horn carrot which has been grown by the Metis in Maine and west to the Red River Valley in Canada to grow for fall or next year cause it's among the sweetest carrots out there. I 've also heard of a Rocky boy red corn from somewhere before, but don't know the details of it yet. I'm from the American Great Lakes and the Metis used to live in the area centuries ago. Please share me some more history of the carrot and the rest of the crops that used to belong to the Metis years ago if you all have a chance. Thanks!

Happy 2022 folks! What's happening over here? I'd like some feedback and stuff over here on Metis crops, cause I'm considering growing some this year at one of my gardens. Thanks!
