This is a great idea, some of these videos have amazing examples and are very inspirational.

It would be great if we could get more people to link permaculture related videos they enjoyed.
I will look around through some of the stuff I have been viewing and see if I can contribute anything!

Stephen Fry talks about permaculture!

I think this is a reference to the work of willie smits.

I <3 Stephen Fry, so I'm already mostly won over. But how on earth do they come up with those figures on rainfall and cloudcover in just 3 years? Unless they had several control plots I don't think that it is mathematically possible to get data that fast to any level of precision worth reporting.

He is referencing Willie Smit, and they used Google Earth for the most part to chart clouds above the area.  Beyond that, I don't know how they actually worked out the figures.  I imagine you would have to have some sort of meteorologist training to evaluate the quality of the clouds.

Well depending on the sophistication of their techniques they might be able to measure the flow of clouds off the region.
