Hello everyone,
I'm a stayed at home mom. We have 5 kids from 4 to 22 (the oldest is my husband daughter she is in University). We live in a rural community. We bought last year a 4 millions foot property. Half of it is in forest (mixt with a section with sugar maples). 1/4 of it was (at least 15 years ago) for animals ad the other quarter was cultivated.
Several
apple trees are on the property. We tried to look for something to do with the ¨farm¨since nothing has been done since 15 years. We decided the have 3 hecars of
land plowed and started with clover on it to try to rebuilt the land...We have hens, a little
water string passing behind the house. It is last year when looking for different ways to use our land that I found
Sepp Holzer and his techniques wich are absolutly fantastics....But to achieve this without experience...ouch!!!
So there I am this year with my experiments on my (average) 125 square foot garden trying a mixte method between Sepp and Emiloa Hazelip....
I have TONS of questions even after reading a lot of the topics of this forum (I have been reading without commenting). You have probably notice by now...I'm french speaking and reading much better than I probably write
Have a nice day...
Isabelle
