I planted 2 bare
root apple trees 2 years ago, and they're being devastated by cedar
apple rust, or at least I assume that's what this is. In any case, they're being ravaged, and can't live like this. They're gonna have to come out and get replaced with something. But, I'm not sure if it's worth replacing them with "disease resistant" apples, or if I
should go with some something entirely different, like cherries. Are disease resistant apples really able to resist cedar apple rust?
