Does anyone know if the nitrogen fixer hog peanuts vegetation can be rotationally grazed by tractored rabbits/guinea pigs?

Any idea on protein content of the plant itself?

Hi,
I am not sure, are you talking about Arachis pintoi? If yes, feedipedia gives 21% crude protein.
It is written it stands heavy grazing, but I think that was tested with ruminants. However, I think as long as you rotate your small livestock quickly through it, removing only part of the biomass, it would work.

Interesting ! I appreciate the link, it sounds like basically that's what I'm after up here in zone 5/6 except Arachis pintoi is more in the tropics? !

Amphicarpaea bracteata from my understanding is "hog peanut" .
