The wife and I live on 25 acres, all of which is mostly mature open woods in north central West Virginia. In thought, I've always been a permaculturist, but in actions I'm just starting out. We have 6 laying hens and 2 hives of honeybees. We've built one low huglebed close up to our dwelling and planted a few fruit trees with plans for more of each. In my way of thinking, having a forest of oaks, hickories, etc... lends itself to raising free ranging pigs and that is also on the horizon. I'm here to learn, share information, and connect with likeminded individuals.
