I love long distance rides. I have yet to camp out at my destination but it's going to happen soon. I recently got a dog and I want to bring her along. I was thinking I could construct a decent sized trailer, for when she eventually does get tired of running. Anyone have good advice, photographs, personal experiences they could share?
Thanks a lot and happy riding
Must be a Decent (BIG) sized Dog if you need a Decent Size trailer to haul it. I use those trailers that haul 2 kids around. You can not beat them. No matter what I make, I can not top the two compartments and cover that they have on them. They are aluminum and pull easily straight behind you.
Good Luck on your Adventure
I've got a Vantly bicycle cargo trailer that works very well for non-dog type loads, and has a solid bottom that might work better for dog-type loads, rather than the standard cloth-bottomed kiddie trailer. The Vantly is rated to carry 100 pounds, and works very, very well.
