Here is part one of what I have been doing with my compost on a cold Canadian winter. I am working on collecting compost from several local families as well. Please let me know any suggestions, this is based on a little research, some experience and expermentation.

we compost in winter too. but use raised mesh beds or cylinders to be more exact. they drain well when it rains and snows yet still heats up and decomposes nicely when you have the right ratios of materials. in fact i get some of my best compost in late winter early spring.

I don't like that guy. The tiny ad agrees with me.
