This is the latest trend in urban housing...

Where is the garden?

Obviously on the roof? Or in all the open space accessible by mas transit?

Seems like a very high-cost to pay for the 'hip urban social experience'.

Thoughts? Reactions?

I posted about a very similar thing - a "pico apartment" here.

I would say the garden is out on the parking strip (green space between sidewalk and street) or on the roof.

For many years I traveled around the country doing contract work. We lived in a 40 foot travel trailer with 6 kids. I gardened in containers that I set out around the campfire. It didn't feed us all our food but it did help. Since we stayed mostly at campgrounds we could not do any more than that. If I had been alone I probably could have taken care of most of my needs.

Yeah, but is it art? What do you think tiny ad?
