I have not noticed the hens eating the worms, but I am holding back
feed for a few days to encourage this. They are generally well satisfied with layer mix and scraps, so I hope to help hunger urge them on for a day or so. I really appreciate the thoughts. I've wondered if they are mealworms as we do have the beetle that comes from those...I will work to keep these things going for sure. Thank you all again and if anyone has any other thoughts, please do share them. I'll post if the worms start acting as a food supply successfully.
