Just dropping a note to introduce myself and my family. We homestead on a 3.5 acre herbal health farm in central Ohio. As our business changes, so has our homestead... so we are in a transition right now. I have to say I am embarrassed that I didn't know permies.com was here! I was invited to share my new book on your site next week (Conceiving Healthy Babies) on December 8 at 9pm. Now that I am looking around I'm going to sit my husband down in front of the computer and get him reading. It will be much better for everyone in the house for him to read the forums than the political sites that make him cranky... =)
Right now it's just my husband and I, two kids (3.5 and 5) and an unknown number of marauding
chickens, ducks and turkeys. We farm using biodynamic principles. I can't wait to meet more of the group here. It's really nice to find a community of folks who share our interests!
