I just visited Harvest Nursery in Molalla Oregon today. (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) I had just but a few minutes to be there but wanted a wide variety of plants.  The gent  (ooh,  forgot his name,  an employee anyway) was so exceedingly helpful! I walked away with my Christmas present from my kids to me this year. Hehe.  I love when I can help them out like that.

I'm getting ready to put the shovel to dirt and plant these babies.

BUT FIRST - I got the idea that perhaps it'd be fun for some of you to play 'Plan a guild'

So i put all these plants down for you educated minds and see what you'd put together.

I'm zone 7 in the Pacific Northwest.

My end goal is guilds in rows along shallow swales.

I like the Permaculture Orchard concept of ripening row by row but I'm having trouble wrapping my head around organizing all the variables to make that happen.

I plan on eventually putting poultry, through the lanes and years from now perhaps idaho pasture pigs, and a random couple sheep or coats in rolling corrals to control browse.

Feel free to ask questions to clarify.

Hey,  I so appreciate your playing along!

I know I'm missing different layering components so feel free to offer suggestions.

Ready!  Set!  GO! !
