Hi everyone,

We co-founded the non-profit organization, Forever MicroRanch: A Community Living Project, and initially developed the farmed animal sanctuary aspect of our model. Now, we are well established within this aspect, and presently at the stage of developing the ecovillage/community living aspect of the non-profit.  The property is a beautifully chemical-free, nicely-treed fifteen acres with a 2500 sq ft farmhouse, a large cement-floor insulated quonset, several other outbuildings, and the beginnings of a 12,600 sq ft permaculture-based food-forest/garden space, including 20+ fruit trees.

We are located in the very South of Saskatchewan about fifteen minutes from the Montana border...and before you cringe, it is incredibly beautiful, with lovely, mild and temperate weather thanks to the chinook winds we get down in this corner. We are from Vancouver and Toronto originally and we chose this place specifically because it's spectacularly beautiful, and virtually undiscovered...and a really development zone for plant-based eating, new development techniques, etc. There are lots of farmers in the area exploring growing new things, regenerative growing practices...all kinds of innovations here for sustainable living!

We need a full-time animal care taker and food grower. We have a great thing going here and we are now ready to plant some food, and to find an individual, couple, or small family that can be plant-based while living here. We can offer accommodation and some food, and a space to develop sustainable business. For real! And, we are accepting of everyone!

If this is something that might be of interest to you, we would be delighted to hear from you!
