Looks good. How long can the gasifier go on a charge or can it be refueled while running?
I would tend to want to go with a slower, heavier... more robust genset.... but using what you have makes sense too. My thought being that if gas is scarce, parts might be too. The gasifier seems very simple and easy to work on, generators can be made very simple too and have mostly only two bearings that ever need replacing. An engine of the same simplicity or at least made to be worked on with flywheel start would complete the unit nicely. I'm thinking of one of those intermittent firing things. A way to make use of the heat makes sense too. maybe I am asking too much at once
