I recently acquired a Griswold
Cast Iron
Muffin Pan. Does anyone know about baking or seasoning it or caring for it?
Also, does anyone have
experience
with a cast iron waffle iron? Do you use it?
I'm a newbie to the cast iron world and so far I like cooking with the skillets.
Thanks much.

Yes, I used my cast iron waffle iron - the only thing I don't like is how small it is.
Paul has a seasoning article, and I use a bit different process but we both arrive at a nice finish.
Do a forum search for Cast Iron and you'll find Paul's article, if you'd like to read mine too let me know and I'll post a link.
Using cast iron takes a little getting used to, but once you've got a good seasoning and some experience you will love it!

Here you go
http://gnowfglins.com/2010/03/12/how-to-season-cast-iron/
And here is a forum search on cast iron, which may be more info than you want
https://permies.com/bb/index.php?action=search2
but it's all in there.
Let me know if you need any more help...
