May not be exactly permies. Guess Paul and the rest can clarify all of that. I do not know a lot about Joel, other than the titles of the books and a few video clips. Thought I might venture that way, should the urge hit me. If I do, should I shoot some video for Paul?

My GF and I are planning on going to this. Joel's got a lot of good ideas and I'd like to see what he does first hand. I'm hoping to do something similar (more permaculture/food forest, less pasturing/animals, smaller scale) as an early retirement project.

sounds good. Maybe I will see you there. Not sure how much of what he does will apply to my current property, but hope to learn something. Plan on swinging by Edible Landscaping while I am there. Sent you a pm.
