Good find Amy,  This is a subject near and dear to my own heart. We have to keep as much biodiversity as possible when it comes to food for humans, with out it, we just might end up extinct.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm hoping to grow some dwarf fruit trees on my balcony this spring, including (I hope) a peach tree. Hoping the Arboretum Company has some dwarf rootstock on offer.

I just went through their lists of offerings for 2018 and didn't see any dwarf root stock trees.
You can simply Bonsai a full sized tree though and that will give you a small tree with their great fruit.
Plus the tree will live longer than a dwarf root stock tree.
