Hi,
we're thinking about setting up a
drip irrigation system for a pretty big and scattered garden, both flowers and food plants, that at the same time shouldn't comprise the aesthetics of the garden. The water source is a
pond that pumps water to four different faucets. I've looked around at different systems on the internet and have found Rain bird. I found other systems as well but necessary is that it ships to Sweden within a fairly short time so therefore Rain bird became the system of choice. It seems like it is a fairly big brand with a lot of extra components that could be added on to the main system. That is necessary since our garden is not a nice square but very irregular. Part of the garden is more of an aesthetic flower garden than a
permaculture food garden, therefore mulching or other methods to reduce water use are not possible.
Does anyone have any
experience using the Rain bird system? Do you think it's a good choice? Are there any viable alternatives?
Very grateful for any help or suggestions!
