See this growing in fields here in Florida, and I recently visited Michigan where it was growing as well. Its very tiny, only standing about 4".

White clover's great: reasonably drought-tolerant, nitrogen-fixing, low-growing and bees adore it.

The flowers taste sweet. You can use them in salads too.
