Howdy folks!
I'm blessed with steadily improving health thanks to naturopathic healers. One of my many blessings is a wonderful family beautiful loving and supportive wife Nell, thank you for getting me here.
This is the first hike of this distance I have attempted in the four years I've been struggling with random debilitating joint inflammation.
Hip Hip Hooray! No seriously, a year ago I could barely walk from one side of the house to the other because of excruciating pain in my hip.
Anywho, here is one result: I get to enjoy the forest the Rodgers' family has worked diligently on for four decades.
This area is what we call the "37 acres."  Dad traded this property for 5 acres around our neighbor's house down in the pasture to the north of our house.
This area was so thick with pinion, juniper and cedar that it was impenetrable by man or beast. Now we see elk and deer signs all through here.
Sorry this is very picture heavy. I did these with Google Photos, not the image editor I normally use which is called the Gimp. These were taken with my Smartphone camera (Samsung S7) which seems to be getting worse and worse for image quality.
I like the way Google photos seems to be able to salvage poor quality images. What do you think?

Listen. That's my theme music. That's how I know I'm a super hero. That, and this tiny ad told me:
