Yes, we've had a Clivus Multrum at our summer house on a lake in southern Massachusetts since 1979, and it has worked perfectly. The new Clivuses are extremely expensive. Depending on where you live, I'd suggest making your own (you'll need to run your plans by the local Health and Building committees). We built a nice one in Nicaragua a few years ago, that had also worked fine for the school kids ever since: see
