My apologies if this has been covered somewhere in the forum as i could not find it, this is my first post
I have came across RMH purely by accident, and very excited by how efficient and “simple” it is
I was hoping to use this in the near future, but not sure if it fully meet my need, thus I am here to ask the experts to find out its capability
Background:
I have setup a rubber plantation (also cocoa), once the latex is collected from the tree, it is coagulated, sliced and passed through press to extract/expel all the water, THEN it is hang and left to dry (and hot smoked) to preserve it.
The drying process involve exposing the semi-dry rubber to heat of 60c-70c (140f-158f) for 24 hours.
My question is: using RMH or RS can I achieve that temp for a room let say w/l/h 30ft/30f/30ft? since the room contain none food stuff, I can vent the exhaust direct into the room without any issue BUT would like to have the wood feeding part outside the room (ideally like to have the whole drum and feeder outside the room
I know the top of the drum is the hottest part, so if I took the exhaust from just below the top can I achieve the target temp in the room?
Thanks for reading and replay, I am looking at this due to the fact current method people are using are so wasteful in term of wood, and quality of the end product.
