If this is thee permaculture forum, perhaps I can find serious people for what I am attempting to do.
Talk is cheap, I have learned this first hand, and many people appear interested right up until the end. I need serious, hard working, visionaries.
I am on 80 acres. Northern Michigan. With many resources for building gardens and infrastructure.
I want to live communally with an agreed upon mission.
Build a co housing structure to fulfill electric needs, and build of natural materials.
Currently I live on a land completely off grid.
If you are interested in an experimental endeavor, I will be happy to share more with you.
Life is too short to waste each others time. This message is to gage level of interests.
I hope to find a few serious people who would be willing to make a move for the better, despite initial challenges.
If it is freedom you seek, financial independence, food security, these are all possibilities and I would be happy to invite you to the drawing board.
You must be willing to:
Commit ( this apparently is the most difficult in the land of many choices)
Form a mission as a team
build of natural material
aid in gardening
be in for a challenge and adventure
Families are encouraged, as creating a diverse community in this region would be beneficial on many fronts.
There are literally hundreds of intentional communities out there and this can be uniquely ours. We will be the foundation for our community and we will gain self-sufficiency through what we put in. Think The Farm type revolution and if you know what I mean, drop me a line.
We would like to have a hand full of people come spring to tackle this dream.
Don't get stuck in the status quo. I took a chance and moved here, just up and left the city to live in a rural setting, with growing my own food as a main goal. I am still here and I need more hands on deck to make this dream a reality.
