Greetings Permies!  I am in the process of finally launching the Forest Ranch which is an education/research/experiential body of work including a YouTube channel that will feature the projects of those working in regenerative agriculture but also introducing an element of regenerative everyday living and focusing on consumer-driven change.  The reason I am taking this approach is that I've been in advertising/marketing for over 20 years while i've been trying to change that ever since ,  I could also apply my knowledge of consumer behavior towards our much-needed solutions. It's also because I recognize consumer behavior as a top catalyst in a capitalist economy.  It would be difficult to convert our food system without getting the mass of food-eaters on board!

Secondly, I'm trying to change the perception of the permaculture or regenerative practitioner from the fringe/woo-woo to the mainstream and part of my strategy in doing that is bringing high-end production and a modern brand into the mix.  I'm a documentary filmmaker and as the Forest Ranch grows and budget becomes available I'd like to try to up the production value of pieces that appeal to the average consumer, creating consumer-driven demand for regenerative products.

I've soft launched the YouTube channel and social media accounts and have a developing blog.

What would be so beautiful and helpful is if users can follow these stories and efforts and bolster our reach by following/subscribing and sharing our content. Lastly, I need your comments, direction, and wisdom to enrich these conversations as time goes on.  I have always been so grateful to use this forum as a resource and hope to be able to continue to do so and to be a resource to others outside of our communities as well! Thanks so much!
