Too late for the giveaway, but I'd
like input anyway.
I live in central Wisconsin, near the epicenter of blastomycosis occurrence in the US. Although there is progress in herbal antifungal treatments,
I'd prefer prevention.
I'm considering saturating the prime areas of my 1 acre yard with a competing myco-slurry.
Any ideas or helpful tips?

An increase in Fungal blooms seems (observation) correlated (hypothesis) to an increase in prevalance of heavy metals (known) in the soil.

I will skip any comments about why they are increasing and what is causing the increase.

Be that as it may, studing useful harmless fungus that are used in bioremediation of heavy metals may be advisable. Chelation is another potential angle.

As far as mitigating human/pet impacts of blooms, look into peppermint oil and grapefruit seed extract taken via nostrils via misters.
