Hey everybody I just got done building a tool box out of an old small refrigerator for my pickup.  I know its pretty redneck but it saved me a few hundred bucks and its pretty serviceable. Besides I like to re-purpose things rather than hall it off to the landfill. But really I don't think it looks all that bad and the price was right.
There really wasn't much to do other than gutting it,putting some trim around it to form a drip edge because water runs between the rubber seal when it rains and to add a hasp so I could lock it up, drilled some holes in the bottom in case water does get in and a little paint to spiff it up.

Check out my video and tell me if it too redneck or not.

Also if your interested, Soon to upload, I'm working on a video where I'm making a portable outdoor shower out of two 250 gal IBC totes with the metal cage, or check out my video's on my plastic barrel canoe.
Thanks for watching and God bless.

Wow, what a great repurpose. I think you could sell those for 250 each. I think Rednecks with charachter trucks (think deer antler hood ornament or railroad toe bumper cover) might prefer them to store bought. Great idea!
