We did it!  (sort of).

We have officially held our first event as a labor coop.  We built bee hives.  As a group we attempted to build 4 Warre Hives and 2 Horizontal Top Bar Hives.  We weren't able to finish, but 3 hives went home to be assembled later and the rest of the group is going to meet back up to finish their hives this upcoming weekend.  Thank you to all those who came out and made the event what it was, fun and instructional.  A special thanks to the Houston Natural Beekeeping Association for coming out and presenting about natural beekeeping as well as showing us their tools.

We will be gearing up for our second event some time this summer.  So if you are interested in participating please reach out to me at houstonpermaculturelaborcoop@gmail.com
