where are you located..I have a standing offer that people can come by and help dig and have them for free here..pm me if you are in Michigan..I'm in central northern part of lower penniinsula..

if you are a long way away though, I suggest if you can't get them, go to a market that sells them and buy some for food quality..and plant those..they generally are going to be a good one to grow in your area..

I suggest planting only one or two per family member..if you want them just for your own use as they multiply like rabbits

Do you have an Earth Fare where you are located? That is where I bought mine.

Do you have a local freecycle group? I posted a request on my (small) local group last week, and got three offers within a day- probably would have had more had I not posted a 'recieved' message. It seems that 'surplus' may be an understatement with these things...

ron, I filled a small flat rate box full of tubers, they were already sprouting so when you get them be prepared to plant them immediately..there are somewhere around a half dozen in there, didn't count.
I started with 3 so that will give you a good start.

They are going out rural today priority mail, not sure when you will get them so watch your mailbox..bre

Thank you, Brenda, I really appreciate it. I will get them in the ground as soon as I receive them. And, Brenda, how much do I owe you? And what is your address?
