Hi,
I recently received some red oak acorns to grow and tried the float test to see if they are viable, and they are all floating. Does this mean they are all bad or will they rehydrate and still grow after stratification?
Thanks!
i’d give them 24 hours soaking and see if there’s any change. i’ve always gone directly to stratification from fresh nuts, but with things like tea i’ve soaked seed until some seeds dropped and had decent germination.
