I think we can meet and have a meet and greet. A day event. Maybe at local beach or park. A low impact and low cost event? I am closer to Lake Michigan. BUT any place in area is good. Lets throw this around. Paul and everyone are great. But it is a west and mountain thing for them. I feel us Midwesterners should meet. Our problems and issues are same.

This event needs to be open and fair to all people. No preaching, everyone is welcome. This is not a prayer vigil. Lets meet, be social, have respect. Kids are cool. I am not a parent and will not babysit others kids. But kids are cool. I will not bring my dogs. I think they need to stay home. So should yours.

Lets bounce this around.

Hey I'm in Michigan. There are a few of us around here. A lot of the Michigan people may NOT be permaculturalists but are homesteaders and a lot of them are on the HT forum I'll give you links to the Michigan forum as well from HT..

the one above has a yearly get together, it is in the northern part of the LP

both forums are good but not necessarily permaculture

Hi Daniel,
Not sure where in SW Michigan you are located, but there's a growing number of us in the Van Buren/Kalamazoo County area and we've recently started a localized e-mail discussion group. Please join if you feel so inclined, we may be having a get-together of some sort soon, and will certainly be meeting every month or two during the warmer seasons.

And hi Brenda, still hoping to make it up your way someday and see your place, sorry to hear that the Pawpaw seeds I sent a few years ago didn't make it!
Thanks and best wishes,
PJ

I have an office in Kalamazoo and live in SW MI. How about a group meet? I am sorry I let this fade away. I started to work a lot and it is important work I do. Lets all chat up and meet sometime.
