I have been feeling a little overwhelmed lately with all that needs to be done and the realisation that we have neither the money or time for most of them. We have been here 3.5 years and it feels like little progress has been made. Then today when I was out with my scythe topping what seemed like a thousand docks to stop them seeding I saw these ... loads of beautiful orchids that have suddenly appeared in the field which was previously overgrazed and poached to what seemed like oblivion by the previous owners. Maybe we have made a difference
