Buying Sepp holzers perennial rye

Hello,

I asked Sepp holzer if I could buy some perennial rye from him. But he says in his book that he gets lots of mail everyday and that he mabey will not react on some mail.

But does somebody has good contact with Sepp?
I am very interested in his rye.
I am 13 and have a small plot of ground (about 250 m2) and I want to grow some perennial rye for myself and the chicken.
I want that rye because it is perennial and tall.

I don't know what species of rye Sepp plants, but while researching Tim Peter's perennial rye earlier this year, I came across a few sites that had it.

This first is out of stock this year, but will hopefully have it again for next year:

This next site grows it about 120km north of you! (They're just north of Amsterdam):

They claim that it grows 2 metres high.

I'm glad that link helped you. When I found it, I figured I'd never need it (being so far from the U.S., and international seed shipments), but book marked it anyways as there is not much available on the www pertaining to perennial cereals. Who would have guessed that 6 months later somebody that lived two hours away from them would be seeking the grains that they grow? Small world!

Good luck with your rye. The chickens can thresh it in their spare time. lol
