There isn't much information on this anywhere. You'll see some people on YouTube w that one person cart they hook up to a dog as a form of exercise or novelty for the dog. Idk. I'm curious about this bc of my one dog who is very strong and thrives on pulling. Mostly just me on a leash.

She does have a one Tigris pack and a carting harness from Etsy. I will DIY her cart. the only actual use I find to justify the task of hooking up the crazy complicated draft harness would be if I was at a state park and had her pulling gear for a weekend trip which I don't do anyway.

What is your opinion about drafting dogs? I wish we didn't discard working animals like horses etc after industrialization. My opinion is that it isn't wrong to put a working dog to work. A horse or any beast of burden.  Especially an extremely energetic bored breed.

How did people used to work dogs? I read an article on natives of Alaska and how they used dogs to carry extremely heavy loads. How do you work your dogs and what kind of jobs can I give my dog who is a greyhound Estrella shepherd mix? It's too bad there isn't much for her to do besides run off and traipse through everyone's yards and get into trouble. She's sad. And I'm sad that the relationship between humans and animals has suffered in this way bc they're not as useful to us. Then I'm also glad we don't have to rely on dogs and them get injured.
